Girls Season One Soundtrack
Okay! So for those of you who cannot tell, Girls is like my favorite, short series to date. Season Two just kicked off to a “amaze” start January 13th, 2013 on HBO which catch every Sunday at 9 P.M. eastern standard time. But just as we are getting all settled in and rampped up for the second season we get another goodie, The Season One Soundtrack and honestly it has a song for every mood, day, feeling or mindstate? And if you are fan and follow girls, you’ll be able to testify on my be-half that the musical cue are just excellent. One, scene, my favorite scene probably still to date is Season One, Episode 3, when Hannah finds out she has HPV, after stressing about maybe the thought of aids, finding out a ex lover is gay and then we have Shosahnna with her virgin baggage, babysitter Jessa and Marnie, the maneater. Well, Hannah trying to cope with everything. slash feeling herself take to twitter, while listening to Robyn – Dancing On My Own and her head starts going and I just remember smiling lol because that what twitter for, we’ve all been there. Shit, honestly, that’s that Robyn’s for! LOL but Marnie comes in and find Hannah in all her glory just dancing on her own and just going through the emotions of the day and she just come in joins her. (YO, GIRL!) I really, without a doubt love this scene because it’s so relate-able well at least to me because i have some of the best memories/girls night dyking to Robyn with my best friend, honestly.
If you’re a fan of girls it’s like a must to have and basically general need in every girl’s collection. Also come with some exclusive tracks from artist like FUN, Santigold and Tegan and Sara! (dykez) But, seriously it has other amazing artist like Snookie’s and JWow theme show song, Icona Pop, appearance from Sleigh Bells and The Vaccines. And as we all know Robyn! I’m telling that track dancing on my own played on my iPod for months on repeat. It is literally the definition of a”go-to track.” I know, I know, I’m such a dyke at time but I love Robyn! Die4Her , so much life she gives and she is “the worlds most killingest pop-star.”
