Mr. Som, without a doubt blown me away with this collection compared to his last fall collection which was very “neat”. Peter Som’s Fall 2013-2014 collection is inspiring. A collection that really describes him as a designer from his patchwork to his signature prints and bold colors. And i guess that’s basically how Som’s describes his customer/woman strong and idealistic. Som Fall 2013 inspired by New York photographer Amy Arbus shots she had taken in the 80’s of street kids downtown which I am getting the sense of that they had this substance to them called this is me, comfortably they are.

I feel like this Som’s stand out collection who I feel is kinda-of under rated for his talent. I don’t know if you ever played The Sims Urbz – there was this place called the foundry and this collection took me there. It’ minimal, industrial setting, it’s a very gray neighborhood but everyone is all arty’s wearing berets and shit.
But this totally took me there the foundry 2013, cool, collective eclectic and comprehensive, I love the emphasis on the jackets.
