Prabal Gurung, Spring 2014 styled Tina Laakeonen and starring Liya Kebede (right, no Joan?) is Gurung first print ad. He revealed his thru a Instavid and a tweet with Liya face covered. I’m so shocked to know that this is his first print ad because I loved that last season Joan Smalls, it was breathtaking . That just show’s you the digital impact on the world of fashion. Prabal Spring 2014 is playful, playing with prints and pastel and cotton candy colors it’s a apporatie nod to old school but doesn’t take it over the top knowing his muse was Marlyin Monroe. I love the textures he played with softness of satin and thickness, roughness of tweed. Prabal is simply one of my favorite designer and never fails to disappoint.
